Playing with the Cat….

We were finishing up dinner last night, homemade pizza to be exact, and I noticed the boys were huddled around a hamper in the kitchen.  Upon further observation, the hamper was upside down, Ben was poking at it with a long piece of mat board, and there was a white, furry paw sticking out of it…..

Ben had trapped Charlie in the hamper, so that he could play with him without getting attacked by the cat’s monster claws!  Charlie didn’t seem to mind his temporary cage since he was more focused on attacking the long piece of mat board that Ben was dangling in front of him.  So, I grabbed my camera and took a few shots.**

After the impromptu photo shoot and several missed attempts at capturing his mat board prey, Charlie was less than amused with the situation.  He meowed very clearly that he wanted out of the hamper and tried sticking his head through one of the side handles….

Hamper playtime was over – Charlie was a good sport though!  We love ya, you furry goofball!

The kids WANT to play with Charlie, but Charlie doesn’t really care for young children…. so I guess they figured out a “safe” way to play with our little clawed terror! 🙂
